There are two black wires attached to one brass screw and a red wire attached to the other brass screw. Black means hot white signifies neutral and green indicates ground. If you don t have a ground wire leave the green screw unconnected.

2 blacks wires hot lead 1 red wire relay. I should also mention that it is 5 led lights. Connect the black wire to the other brass screw.
